Paul Giurata is considered one of the pre-eminent application UI designers in the United States Paul Giurata is a managing partner of Catalyst Resources. He is a prolific and successful entrepreneur and executive with operating experience in diverse technology companies. A noted speaker and considered one of the pre-eminent UI application designers in the U.S., Paul begin his career at the Apple Multimedia Lab. His later work helped quantify the connection between a positive user experience and bottom-line financial results.

At Catalyst Resources, Paul has a established a long track record of delivering innovative and successful application design to financial services and SaaS. The user-validated, agile approach to rapid application design, pioneered by Paul, minimizes financial and functional risks while maximizing dependability and user satisfaction. He continually evolves the approach incorporating new metrics and new research in UI design.

Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He serves on the board of several non-profits including the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo and Victory Ranch, which provides equine based life skill workshops for children at risk. His 10+ years of for-profit board experience includes managing the $70M sale of the online division of a major publishing company.
