Paul Giurata to speak at AJAXWorld 2008: “How to choose the right AJAX Tookit, Framework or IDE”
San Mateo, CA, January 23, 2008 – Paul Giurata, managing partner of Catalyst Resources, has been selected to present at the AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2008 running March 18-20, 2008 in New York City: “AJAX Toolkits, Frameworks and IDEs: How Do You Choose the Right One?”
Paul’s session, Thursday, March 20th, will address issues to consider when selecting an AJAX toolkit and the most effective IDE for the implementation. It will identify the 30-40 UI components most commonly used in business and mission critical software applications for financial services and SaaS. These basic UI elements can be used as a benchmark for evaluating various toolkits and then exploring the top evaluation criteria including component behaviors, customization, flexibility, frameworks, licensing and documentation.
Attendees to the session will be provided with a comparison survey for the 6-8 most widely used AJAX UI component libraries (commercial and open source). Further discussion will address how to select the appropriate IDE once a commitment has been made to a AJAX UI toolkit.
Paul brings his extensive experience in the use of AJAX and RIAs for financial services, SaaS and mission critical business applications. The AJAX Fast Track service he began, is designed to help clients successfully AJAX-enable their web-based applications. This program combines user-validation testing, UI architecture, visual design, AJAX UI library selection, and clickable code prototypes that can be rapidly extended to production applications. The result is a full implementation plan for optimizing an application’s UI and adding AJAX where it can solve real world business problems and offer the best return on investment.
